Back in the day, handheld gaming meant slipping AA batteries into a Game Boy and hoping your save file didn’t vanish with a sneeze. Fast forward past the PSP era, through the Switch’s heyday, and here we are – surrounded by sleek, cloud-connected consoles that look like they could file your taxes if you asked nicely. Into this already-packed arena walks the Abxylute One Pro, strutting like it knows something the others don’t. Spoiler: it kind of does.

The One Pro isn’t trying to outgun a Steam Deck or push frame rates like a ROG Ally. That’s not its lane. What it offers instead is something far more focused – and frankly, way more fun. This is a machine that understands handheld gaming isn’t always about performance brute force. Sometimes it’s about slipping into retro bliss, emulating PS2 titles flawlessly, and doing it all without melting your palms or draining your wallet.

Powered by the MediaTek Genio 510, the One Pro gets a solid boost over the OG Abxylute. This chip isn’t exactly a household name, but under the hood it’s no slouch. We’re talking dual Cortex-A78 cores backed by four Cortex-A55s – enough to push 60fps on PS2 emulation, which is kind of the sweet spot for most old-school titles. Paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable to 2TB), it’s well equipped for managing retro libraries, mobile games, and light Android multitasking.

And yes, it’s running Android 13, which means Google Play Store access is baked in. Emulators? Check. Remote play for Steam, PS5, and Xbox? You bet. Mobile games and streaming? Abxylutely (geddit?). But what makes the One Pro feel unusually tuned-in is how it’s tailored to the hands of gamers who actually care about control fidelity.

The joysticks are a big deal here. These aren’t the mini thumb-nubs you find on cheaper handhelds or Joy-Con imitators. They’re full-sized capacitive digital joysticks, which should mean better accuracy, less drift, and a bit of that Xbox-controller muscle memory. For something this compact, that’s a surprisingly premium touch – and one that’ll matter when you’re trying to stick a landing in Tony Hawk or line up a sniper shot in Metal Gear Solid 3.

Display-wise, you’re getting a 7-inch 1080p LTPS screen with a 60Hz refresh rate. It’s not OLED, but for the price point it’s respectable – colors are punchy, motion feels smooth, and the screen size hits that ergonomic sweet spot. The design goes semi-transparent, evoking that late ’90s aesthetic like it just walked out of a Toys“R”Us catalog – but the vibe works. It’s retro without being cosplay.

You’ll also find touchscreen mapping tools, controller customization, and even 4K video output – ideal if you’re hooking this up to a TV or some wild AR glasses setup. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5 with MU-MIMO (so your game stream won’t choke), Bluetooth, and USB-C for charging or docking. The 5,200mAh battery promises up to 8 hours of use, which feels just right – not marathon-level, but good enough to get you through a long flight or a Sunday couch session.

Size-wise, it clocks in at 250mm x 115mm x 30mm and weighs 430 grams. That’s chunky enough to feel sturdy without veering into wrist-cramp territory. Luckily, it’s still hyper-compact, leaning into Switch Lite or Legion Go S territory, which makes it perfect for on-the-go gaming… and although the abxylute One Pro doesn’t really ship with a protective case, you can grab a nifty soft-shell carry case on abxylute’s website for pretty cheap, complete with mesh pockets for keeping things like charging cables, MicroSD cards, and whatnot.

The Kickstarter launched on March 27, with early bird pricing at $209, and the full retail price landing at $249. Shipping kicks off mid-to-late May, so it won’t be long before you get the unit in your hands – and the sooner the better, judging by the whole tariff-measuring competition the US and China are having…

Healthcare systems around the world are under pressure, and South Korea is no exception. With a single healthcare professional often responsible for 16 to 43 patients, providing personalized, one-on-one rehabilitation becomes a nearly impossible task. Legit, an AI-powered walking aid, steps in to meet this challenge, offering a smarter, more efficient way to deliver high-quality rehab training without overburdening medical staff.

Legit is designed to support patients as they approach the walking stage of recovery. It enables them to train independently while still benefiting from expert-level oversight. At the heart of its functionality is the seamless integration of artificial intelligence and wearable technology, allowing for real-time feedback, remote monitoring, and adaptive support tailored to each patient’s condition.

Designers: eunhye jangi jeongsuYun A Jang, and Yunjae Shin

Before training begins, patients attach a wearable EMG (electromyography) sensor patch to their thigh or calf. This patch detects muscle activity and communicates directly with the walking aid. The AI system analyzes this data in real time, adjusting training programs to suit the patient’s progress and condition. This not only personalizes the rehabilitation experience but also ensures that the patient remains safe and supported throughout their session.

Training with Legit isn’t passive, it’s purposeful. Patients follow an LED light beam projected onto the floor, which guides their stride and pace during walking exercises. The walker’s built-in display delivers intuitive feedback, showing real-time updates on speed, distance, and muscle engagement. It’s like having a digital coach on wheels, one that’s always responsive, never tired, and perfectly calibrated to the user’s needs.

For healthcare professionals, Legit is just as transformative. Through a centralized application, staff can manage multiple devices with ease. They start by selecting an available walker, checking its battery level, and turning it on. The system then displays the latest patient feedback, allowing medical staff to assess progress and identify any concerns. Based on this information, the AI suggests optimized training modes tailored to the patient’s rehabilitation stage. Once selected, these modes are linked to the device, and the session begins, all from a remote interface. This streamlined process enables minimal staffing without compromising the quality of care.

Legit allows patients to train within hospital track systems, where support is nearby if needed, but not constantly required. The walker adjusts in real time, helping patients fine-tune their gait, build strength, and regain mobility in a controlled, monitored environment. The combination of autonomy for the patient and oversight for the staff strikes a perfect balance, making rehab both accessible and effective.

More than just a walking aid, Legit represents a new mindset in rehabilitation—one where intelligent systems and human care work hand in hand. By reducing the dependency on constant physical supervision, it frees up valuable time for healthcare workers while empowering patients to take an active role in their recovery.

Nothing seems determined to keep us on our toes this year, don’t they? It feels like just yesterday we were dissecting the launch of the Phone (3a) series back in March, their strategic play to capture a wider audience with a more budget-friendly offering. It was a smart move, bringing that signature transparent design and Glyph interface magic to a price point many more could stomach, broadening their battlefield significantly.

And the momentum doesn’t seem to be slowing. Rumours are swirling thick and fast about their CMF sub-brand dropping its second phone, on the 28th of this month. Talk about expanding the portfolio! But amidst this flurry of activity targeting different market segments, the inevitable whispers about the main event have begun. Fresh speculation points towards the arrival of the flagship Nothing Phone (3) as early as July.

Designer: Konstantin Milenin

This July timing aligns neatly with their previous major phone releases, lending credence to the speculation. While official confirmation is naturally absent – Nothing plays its cards close to its chest – the consistency makes the rumour feel plausible.

What can we expect from the Phone (3)? Details are scarce, naturally. However, looking at the progression from Phone (1) to (2), iterative refinement seems likely. A processor bump feels inevitable, perhaps moving to something like the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 to set it apart from last month’s Phone (3a) series. Camera improvements are always on the wishlist, and given the (3a) Pro’s impeccable 3-lens shooter, it’s safe to say the Phone (3) will aim higher. There’s definitely going to also be a big focus on AI features, which Nothing debuted with the (3a) in the form of a dedicated AI button that leads to their homegrown Essential Space app (which rumors suggest will eventually turn into a paid feature.)

This particular Phone (3) concept shown above comes from the mind of Konstantin Milenin, with a few details that really grab the eye. Even though the Glyph Interface has been the Nothing Phone’s crown jewel, it’s always been guided by the shape of the charging coils on the back. Change this shape, and you retain the essence of the Nothing Phone, but introduce an absolutely new flavor to it. Milenin’s concept does just that, opting for a unique closed U-shaped charging coil that allows the glyph interface to take on a different form factor.

Meanwhile, the camera layout stays roughly the same, albeit with the inclusion of the periscope lens from the (3a) series. The glyphs around the other two lenses is slightly different too, with a curved/arc shape that breaks visual monotony.

Of course, the Glyph Interface will be central. Will we see further evolution here? More granular control, perhaps? New integrations? Nothing’s design language is its strongest asset, and iterating thoughtfully on the Glyph system is crucial to maintaining that edge. They need to balance novelty with genuine utility, ensuring the lights remain more than just a party trick.

The market context is also interesting. Nothing operates in a fiercely competitive space, straddling the line between mid-range value and premium aesthetics. With the CMF sub-brand now catering to the budget-conscious segment, the main Nothing line can potentially lean further into its premium aspirations, refining its hardware and software experience without compromising its core identity.

Anticipation will undoubtedly build. Nothing has mastered the art of the hype cycle, leveraging community engagement and carefully curated leaks to maintain buzz. Whether the Phone (3) represents a revolutionary leap or a subtle evolution, its arrival will be significant. It marks another chapter for a young company still defining its long-term place in the tech landscape.

Ultimately, a potential July launch keeps Nothing firmly in the conversation. It signals their continued ambition and commitment to the smartphone arena. We’ll be watching closely, eager to see if the Phone (3) can once again capture that unique blend of design intrigue and accessible innovation that defined its predecessors. The wait, as always, begins.

Projectors have always held a subtle advantage over TVs: inherent portability. You could never just casually toss a 50-inch television into a bag for a weekend getaway. Yet, for a long time, projectors themselves weren’t exactly pinnacles of design – functional, often bulky, white or beige boxes. That’s changing fast. A new wave of smart projectors, spearheaded by brands like XGIMI, JMGO, and Nebula, are aggressively shedding that utilitarian skin, embracing aesthetics that make them mantle-worthy decor and genuinely travel-friendly companions. The era of the boring box is fading.

Into this evolving landscape steps the Dangbei N2 Mini. At first glance, it fits right into the modern aesthetic of compact tech. It’s small, unassuming, and designed to blend in, aided by a clever built-in gimbal stand allowing easy tilting up to 95 degrees. This isn’t a powerhouse meant for a dedicated home theater; it’s positioned as a versatile companion for spontaneous movie nights, easy bedroom ceiling projections, or adding a big screen where a TV won’t fit. Its portability invites users to rethink content consumption.

Designer: Dangbei

The crucial feature that sets it apart is its native Netflix certification. Dangbei securing official Netflix support is a huge win for convenience, sitting alongside preloaded Prime Video, YouTube, YouTube Kids, and nearly 300 other streaming apps. No Chromecast, no Fire Stick, no Roku, no Apple TV. The N2 Mini has everything it needs within, giving you a smart device that’s all-encompassing on both the hardware and software level.

Of course, a projector lives and dies by its image quality. The N2 Mini offers a native 1080p resolution for solid clarity, capable of projecting an image up to 120 inches. It has 200 ISO lumens of brightness, which might be its only Achilles heel. Although not designed to battle bright daylight, it performs admirably in dimly lit or dark rooms – its intended environment. Support for HDR10 and HLG also aims to deliver better contrast and color than basic SDR projectors within its brightness class.

Automatic focus, keystone correction, and even obstacle avoidance come baked in, so your projector is literally as easy to use as a point-and-shoot. Point the projector roughly where you want the image, and it should electronically square things up, focus sharply, and adjust for objects in the way. This automation, combined with a quiet 26dB operating noise and a dust-resistant design, reinforces the N2 Mini’s plug-and-play appeal for casual users.

Sound is handled by a pair of 6W speakers with Dolby Audio support. While integrated speakers rarely rival dedicated soundbars, having decent onboard audio is essential for grab-and-go portability. It means you can move it to another room and start watching without needing external speakers, though Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity is available if you want to upgrade the audio experience for a more cinematic feel during longer sessions.

Connectivity options are standard but sufficient: an HDMI port for consoles or laptops, a USB-A port likely for media playback, faster dual-band Wi-Fi 6 for smooth streaming, and the aforementioned Bluetooth. These ensure it can handle various sources beyond its native apps, maintaining that ease-of-use focus that defines the experience while keeping pace with current wireless standards for reliable performance online.

The Dangbei N2 Mini enters a crowded market, but its official Netflix support provides a compelling argument, especially considering its highly accessible promotional price of $179 (discounted from $229). It addresses a common pain point directly without demanding a premium. While not the brightest projector overall, it presents a remarkably well-rounded package focused squarely on convenience and popular streaming within a compact, smart, and aesthetically current form factor. It’s a pragmatic, affordable solution for everyday big-screen enjoyment.

Although experiences like Apple’s spatial computing look impressive in demos, their practical use in daily life is hampered by one important consideration. No matter how lightweight you make them, headsets that wrap around your skull and block your vision will always be awkward, isolating, and even hazardous. Ideally, we’ll get our eXtended reality or XR fix through eyewear that doesn’t look any different from the ones you wear, presuming you wear prescription glasses, of course.

Google might finally be changing that status quo with its renewed enthusiasm for AR, VR, MR, XR, and everything in between. Although Samsung’s Project Moohan headset was the focus of much attention when Google announced its new Android XR endeavor, the platform wasn’t meant to stop there. It will also be available in the regular smart glasses design, and Google finally reveals a little bit of what it was working on.

Designer: Google

In a TED 2025 talk, Google’s Shahram Izadi showed off a prototype Android XR device in action. While the demo itself was pretty impressive, especially for having no technical problems during the entire test, most are probably already used to the features that the AI-powered Android XR can bring to the table. What really caught people’s eyes, however, were the glasses used for that demonstration.

They looked pretty discreet, at least as far as very thick glasses are concerned. Unlike specs from Xreal or VITURE, however, the lenses are completely clear and transparent. You can see the world in front of you clearly, and people can see your eyes unobstructed. Despite that simple and relatively slim design, the prototype still had room for a display to let you read text or notifications, though it will be in a small corner or side of your vision rather than in your face.

The smart glasses naturally have cameras, as Gemini, which is the main point for user interaction on Android XR, needs to be able to see the world as you see it. It listens to your voice prompts, of course, but it needs to understand what you’re looking at in order to make sense of your requests. For example, it was able to remember where you last put down your keys, play music based on an album jacket you’re holding, or even explain a diagram from a book you have opened before you.

This “rolling window” AI experience, while powerful, might also raise privacy concerns, seeing as it can remember things it saw even when the wearer wasn’t paying attention or intentionally looking at a thing. And then there’s the style of the glasses themselves, since not everyone will be happy with such thick frames, and it might be a while before we can actually have XR glasses that are really stylish and inconspicuous.

]]>

The creator economy is a rapidly growing global industry that is primarily driven by digital platforms that empower content creators to reach large audiences. As content creators gain influence, they often begin with basic tools like smartphones and gradually upgrade their equipment as their following grows. While smartphones serve as a good starting point, many creators eventually invest in higher-end cameras and gear to achieve more professional-quality results. In a constantly evolving landscape, where consumer tastes shift frequently, vloggers, podcasters, and social media influencers must adapt to meet changing demands of large audiences and stay relevant in a competitive space.

With the increasing demand for high-quality content worldwide, one must make sure to consider several factors when selecting devices and accessories as they are crucial to producing premium-quality stills and videos that resonate with your audience.

1. Go for Compact Devices

There is a growing demand for compact devices among content creators due to their portability, practicality, and ease of use. These devices allow creators to easily capture videos and images on the go, without the burden of heavy and bulky gear. Whether in a hurry or working spontaneously, compact devices save time by eliminating lengthy camera setups that might miss capturing the moment.

Compact devices are perfect for traveling to various locations and adapting to different conditions. They should be small enough to fit in a bag or pocket to be quickly accessible. Additionally, their affordability makes them accessible to a wider audience, enabling high-quality content creation solo which reduces the need for a team thereby making the process more cost-effective.

The InstaPocket is an innovative camera designed specifically for content creators and social media enthusiasts. It combines the simplicity of digital cameras with the modern aesthetic of social media and allows users to capture high-quality photos and videos effortlessly. Its compact, pocket-sized design ensures portability, making it easy to carry for spontaneous shooting. Inspired by social media trends, the rounded square shape connects users directly with the social media experience, creating a seamless link between content creation and sharing.

The device is equipped with intuitive features like an integrated scroll wheel for precise zooming and a lens ring for easy aperture adjustments and offers enhanced control. Unlike smartphones, which can be a source of distraction, the InstaPocket is solely focused on content creation and sharing. This streamlined approach ensures that users stay in the moment, capturing and sharing content quickly without interruptions. InstaPocket is a powerful tool for effortless, high-quality content creation that is perfect for influencers, live streamers, and creators.

2. Invest in Innovative Accessories

Content creation can be time-consuming, with significant time spent on shooting and editing. Therefore, investing in accessories is essential to streamline the process and boost productivity. Some of the accessories include a tripod to ensure stability, while an external microphone enhances voice clarity. A lighting kit or ring light provides the perfect glow and improves video quality.

Portable hard drives offer additional storage, and a power bank keeps devices charged on the go. A green screen is particularly valuable as it allows creators to set a preferred backdrop, providing flexibility for different types of content in various environments. This enables creators to produce professional visuals without limitations and it enhances creativity across various projects.

Check out the MagCool OmniGrip which is a compact, all-in-one tool designed to simplify content creation. It consolidates multiple essential accessories into a single portable device, including a built-in SSD for storage, a ring light for professional lighting, an aux-in for external microphones, and a semiconductor cooling system to prevent overheating during intense 4K recording. The 6000mAh battery ensures continuous use, making it ideal for extended shooting sessions, live streaming, or vlogging without worrying about power.

With its foldable design and MagSafe compatibility, the MagCool OmniGrip offers both portability and ease of setup. It provides creators with everything they need to produce high-quality content, from better audio and lighting to efficient storage and temperature management. The device is designed to streamline workflows, reducing the need for bulky rigs and making it easy to carry all essential gear in one compact solution. This accessory is suitable for creators who want a reliable, hassle-free tool to enhance their filming experience.

3. Go for Multifunctional Devices

Multifunctional devices are best suited for content creation as they combine the capabilities of multiple tools into a single, integrated unit. With built-in HD microphones, some devices eliminate the need for external mics in most situations and Wi-Fi connectivity allows one to go for instant video uploads, enabling quick sharing to social media without the need to transfer files between devices.

Other features include instant photo editing and color correction to simplify content enhancement. Additionally, longer shutter speeds ensure smooth, shake-free video recording and high-quality still photography. This streamlines the production process and enables professional-grade content creation with fewer devices.

Industrial designer DPP Da’Peng has conceptualized an all-in-one broadcast device to simplify content creation. With the rising demand for quality production equipment among content creators, this innovative device combines multiple functions into a single unit to eliminate the clutter of using various devices. Whether for podcasts, vlogs, or influencer content, this all-in-one solution allows creators to access professional-grade tools in a single place, reducing the hassle and mess that is typically associated with multiple broadcast devices.

Da’Peng’s design addresses the challenge of heat dissipation in broadcast equipment, incorporating a compact, integrated heat sink to improve efficiency. The device is available in two iterations where one with a cubic form supported by a tripod, and the other with a more projector-like appearance. Both models feature a rotating lens for landscape and portrait modes, wireless functionality to reduce clutter, and intuitive controls. With the optional tripod, creators can also mount the device as a webcam that offers more flexibility in content creation.

4. Consider Quirky Devices

Quirky devices and accessories add immense value to content creation by fostering creativity and encouraging experimentation with new formats. When visible, devices like microphones and ear pods infuse a unique layer of personality into the content. These quirky tools help content creators distinguish themselves in a crowded digital space.

Vintage-inspired designs create a timeless aesthetic, while retro devices evoke nostalgia and enhance the overall vibe. By stepping away from traditional designs, these devices inspire creators to push boundaries, try fresh ideas, and produce standout content. Their eye-catching designs allow creators to express their individuality without sacrificing professionalism, resonating with audiences and making the content more engaging and memorable.

For instance, Talkie is a playful desktop microphone designed by Long Beach-based industrial designer Chris Granneberg. Known for his whimsical and minimalist style, Granneberg’s designs feature primary color schemes and tactile shapes that invite interaction with the product. Created for Render Weekly’s S6:W6 prompt, Talkie combines a nostalgic silhouette with modern functionality. Its intuitive control interface and adjustable structure make it easy for users to find the ideal microphone position while maintaining a fun, vibrant aesthetic.

Designed for content creators, Talkie offers the same performance as standard microphones but stands out with its unique shape and color. The microphone is operated through a single button, while a 360-degree swivel ball joint allows for easy adjustment. With an included USB Type-C cable, Talkie connects to a desktop computer for quick setup. Granneberg’s philosophy of surrounding himself with joyful, colorful objects is reflected in this design, making Talkie both a practical and visually engaging tool for creators.

The evolution of content creation tools highlights a clear trend toward compact, versatile devices that don’t compromise on quality. As creators weigh their options, the balance between size and functionality becomes crucial to their workflow and creative potential.

Ultimately, the ideal setup combines ultra-portable primary devices with carefully selected accessories that enhance versatility. This strategic approach allows creators to remain nimble while accessing professional-grade capabilities, ensuring they can capture spontaneous moments without sacrificing the production value audiences have come to expect.

March 2025 arrived with a flourish of technological breakthroughs, but five devices rose above the rest, capturing both the imagination and practicality that define modern innovation. Whether you’re a gadget enthusiast, a creative professional, or someone who just loves the feel of the latest tech in your hands, these products set new benchmarks for what’s possible.

March’s best gadgets are not just incremental upgrades—they are bold leaps forward, answering longstanding wishes and reimagining how we interact with technology. From Samsung’s audacious new foldable form factor to a NAS that fits in your pocket, March 2025 was a showcase of ingenuity. Dive in, and have a look at these super cool gadgets!

1. Samsung’s Quad-Fold Smartphone

Foldable smartphones have been evolving at a rapid pace, but Samsung’s latest patent pushes the boundaries of what’s technically possible—and what users can expect in a futuristic device. The company has long dominated the foldable device space, but with competitors like Huawei and TCL introducing tri-fold concepts, Samsung’s quad-fold smartphone raises the stakes dramatically.

What sets this design apart is its ambitious use of four interconnected panels joined by three hinges, allowing for a device that can transform into multiple configurations. The patent suggests a horizontally connected structure, with three hinges enabling complex folding and unfolding sequences. In contrast to some outward-folding designs, Samsung’s inward-folding approach keeps the flexible display protected when closed, potentially resolving durability concerns that have haunted previous generations.

What we like

  • The four-panel, three-hinge design enables the device to transform between smartphone, tablet, and even more unique form factors.
  • By folding inward, the display is protected when the device is closed, reducing the risk of scratches and damage.

What we dislike

  • The addition of multiple hinges and folding points increases complexity, potentially leading to new challenges.

2. Next-Gen Xbox Handheld

For years, the gaming community has clamored for a genuine handheld Xbox experience—one that blends Microsoft’s robust gaming ecosystem with the freedom of portable play. While rumors and patents have circulated, it wasn’t until a recent, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it NBC Today Show segment that the tech world caught its first real glimpse of what could be Microsoft’s answer to the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, and ROG Ally. The brief reveal in Phil Spencer’s office—a space famous for housing top-secret hardware—showed an unfamiliar handheld device bearing the Xbox logo, sparking a frenzy of speculation and excitement.

Unlike previous prototypes or third-party add-ons, this device appears to be a genuine Microsoft-developed console, with design elements that set it apart from competitors. Its button layout deviates from known standards, suggesting new control schemes or expanded functionality. The device’s form factor and rumored Windows-based platform with an Xbox-specific user interface point to seamless integration with Xbox Game Pass, cloud gaming, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.

What we like

  • Expected to feature seamless access to Xbox Game Pass, cloud gaming, and cross-platform functionality, this handheld could provide a unified gaming experience on the go.
  • The unique button placement hints at new gameplay possibilities or enhanced ergonomics.

Hisense has introduced the U8QG series of large-format MiniLED QLED TVs. Ranging from 55 inches to 100 inches, these displays are crafted to serve as the central visual element in any interior space. They are designed to draw attention and define the aesthetic of a room.

Designer: Hisense

The U8QG series employs MiniLED technology. Thousands of tiny LEDs behind the screen provide localized dimming, enabling precise control over contrast and brightness. The images produced are detailed, with bright highlights and deep blacks. The high luminance levels, reaching up to 5,000 nits, support HDR content, bringing scenes to life with vibrant highlights and subtle gradations. Quantum Dot Color technology further enhances the palette, expanding the range of vivid colors.

The design takes into account the visual impact of the display as the room’s focal point. The larger sizes, especially the 100-inch model, dominate the space, transforming it into an immersive environment. Placement within a room must account for the size and viewing distance; larger screens require more space to fully appreciate their scale and detail. When positioned thoughtfully, the display becomes a defining element that influences the room’s atmosphere and layout.

The series’s high refresh rate of 165Hz ensures fluid motion during fast scenes, such as sports or gaming sequences. The rapid response times help maintain clarity during rapid movement, preventing blur and maintaining visual coherence. The integration of spatial audio through a Dolby Atmos system fills the space with multidimensional sound. This acoustic design emphasizes the display’s role as the room’s primary entertainment feature, supporting a fully immersive sensory experience.

Support for high-quality formats such as Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and IMAX Enhanced ensures that content remains true to its original intent. The interface offers access to a wide array of streaming apps and channels, making the TV a versatile centerpiece. Voice control through Google Assistant and Alexa enhances its functionality as the room’s interactive hub.

The variety of sizes available—55, 65, 75, 85, and 100 inches—allows for tailored integration into different spaces. Smaller models fit comfortably in bedrooms or smaller living areas, while larger models serve as the dominant visual element in open-plan rooms or dedicated home theaters. Proper seating and placement maximize the immersive qualities of the large screens, emphasizing their role as the room’s primary visual focal point.

These displays are now available at Best Buy and Amazon. With their commanding presence and advanced technological features, they redefine what a home display can be. The series encourages a thoughtful approach to interior design, where the screen is not just a piece of technology but a central visual and atmospheric element that shapes the entire space.

Wireless earphones have come a long way in terms of battery life while maintaining a compact form factor. A good pair of buds can last almost six to seven hours on average with ANC on. The charging case provides another two to three charge cycles before you need to plug in your case for a refill. Under normal circumstances, that should be enough for a day or even a day and a half, if you keep the ANC and transparency mode turned off for the duration.

If you are a power user always on the go, chances are you might drain out all the battery in your charging case. The solution in that scenario is to keep a wired pair handy, or is it? This concept believes otherwise, and the idea seems novel, just like the Streamline hybrid earbuds that can be used both in wireless and wired modes. Called the reverse charging earphones, these charge your buds when the juice runs out.

Designer: Jinkyo Han

Imagined for the Apple AirPods Pro, the concept proposes a reverse charging cable that connects to the phone and then charges the buds when they are low on battery power. Since each bud carries a battery capacity of 50 mAh each, every recharge cycle will only drain 100 mAh of the phone’s battery power, which is a bargain as current generation smartphones have a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh. It’s like you have a power bank for your AirPods Pro in case you’ve exhausted both the buds and the charging case battery.

When the AirPods battery runs out, simply dock them into the charging cable slot and connect them to the phone with the USB-C cable. The buds attach securely to the cable dock without the fear of knocking them off as they dock magnetically into the deep hollow openings at the ends, Jinkyo refers to as the A terminals. If you wish to use the buds in this mode for a prolonged period, you can even skip carrying the charging case for the earbuds. The charging cable indicates the charge status with a blinking LED light on the Y-splitter section.

The idea is very practical, probably the reason we are seeing such concept design pop up. In all likelihood, Apple won’t be tempted to go for such a design evolution or design an official accessory with such functionality. Third-party manufacturers and start-ups might be tempted to turn this ideation into reality, given its utilitarian aspect.

Mobile gaming fans know the struggle: you want the raw power of a gaming phone, but not everyone wants to carry around a chunky device that screams “gamer” from a mile away. It feels like you’re always forced to pick between beastly specs or a phone you wouldn’t be embarrassed to pull out at lunch. The RedMagic 10 Air steps in to say you can have your cake and eat it too.

Standard flagship phones can handle a round of Genshin Impact just fine, but gaming smartphones are designed for people who want every advantage possible. Usually, that means phones so thick and heavy they could double as a paperweight, with flashy designs that leave no doubt about their purpose. The RedMagic 10 Air flips the script by packing serious gaming muscle into a slim, understated body.

Designer: RedMagic (nubia)

Compared to its big sibling, the RedMagic 10 Pro, which boasts an 8.9mm profile, the 10 Air shaves things down to just 7.8mm according to official numbers. For perspective, that’s even slimmer than the iPhone 16 Pro Max, a device often praised for its sleekness. It may just be the thinnest gaming phone around right now, making it easy to slip into pockets and blend in on any occasion.

What’s wild is that RedMagic doesn’t sacrifice much to pull off this slim look. Inside is a Snapdragon 8 Gen3, which still delivers top-tier performance for the latest games. The camera setup skips the gimmicky macro lens but keeps a strong dual 50MP wide and ultrawide combo. The battery is slightly smaller at 6,000mAh, but it charges up fast with 80W support, so you’re never sidelined for long.

One feature longtime fans might notice missing is the iconic cooling fan found in previous RedMagic models. With its thinner build, the 10 Air relies on passive cooling to keep temperatures manageable. While there’s no whirring fan sound, the phone’s performance promises to remain steady, even during marathon sessions of your favorite titles.

On the outside, the minimalist design of the RedMagic 10 Air keeps things refreshingly simple. Except for a bold orange version that sports a narrow LED strip for a pop of character, there’s little to tip off its gaming pedigree. For mobile gamers who want powerhouse specs in a phone that looks at home anywhere, the RedMagic 10 Air is shaping up to be a game-changer.
